Spectator Guide

A total of 45,000 copies were printed for distribution. 30,000 guides were distributed from Ft. Collins, CO to Salt Lake City, UT at colleges and universities in the area. 15,500 guides were distributed on-site to all spectator service areas and the bus drop off area located at the entrance of the venue.

X Fest Activities

NAVY’s activation tent footprint grew by over 10’ at Winter X Games 2012. The space highlighted the Immersadome; a personal theater in which the viewer is immersed in a short film featuring NAVY Seals. By lowering a dome over the viewer’s head, the structure enabled a 180° view of a 6-minute NAVY mission that included high-quality sight, sound, wind, and scents. NAVY’s activation also included a pull-up challenge, with males and females competing for most pull-ups completed. Consumers also competed in hourly trivia challenges for prizes. NAVY videos looped in the tent. Pro snowboarder Scotty Lago signed autographs in the booth.
