EA Sports national marketing efforts included print creative, digital advertising, on-site activations, and competition course signage featuring their newly released SSX video game.

A total of 45,000 copies were printed for distribution. 30,000 guides were distributed from Ft. Collins, CO to Salt Lake City, UT at colleges and universities in the area. 15,500 guides were distributed on-site to all spectator service areas and the bus drop off area located at the entrance of the venue.

EA Sports/SSX bench – As part of their “Rule the Pipe” television feature, an SSX themed bench was created for X Games athletes to sit on before dropping into the half pipe for their runs. The athletes were shown preparing themselves on this bench throughout the live broadcast of SuperPipe events.
X Fest Activities
The 10 X 10 tent provided attendees the opportunity to get a unique preview and play their new SSX videogame developed by EA Sports in branded gaming kiosks before its release in stores on February 28th. A brand new PS3 gaming system was also given away.
